Information You Submit
A third-party provider receives names, phone numbers, or addresses entered in the search forms. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details in your message and use them to answer.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. Aggregate review helps maintain the site and measure which pages are useful. Cookies or comparable technology may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How Information Is Used
We use limited data to operate the service, diagnose errors, understand traffic, and improve content. We neither sell a visitor list nor assemble individual user profiles.
Privacy On Linked Services
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
Rights to access, correct, or delete website-held data vary by jurisdiction. Washington's My Health My Data Act, Chapter 19.373 RCW, specifically governs consumer health data and is not a universal public-record deletion law. Because we retain little information, a request normally means checking contact messages and available server logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Records held by Washington, Pierce County, or a city remain under the relevant custodian's rules, including the Washington Public Records Act, Chapter 42.56 RCW.
Policy Changes
Revisions will appear here. Continued use after a posted update signals acceptance of the revised policy.
